[Public-List] Packing Gland

I kept the reliable old bronze packing gland, but 15 years ago replaced the packing with the space-age blue paste-like material that was made to convert the old water-lubicated bearing in to a teflon impregnated super-slippery paste stuff. Tighen it down until the drips stops, run the engine up to cruising speed, check for leaks, turn one flat tight at a time until the drip stops and it has never dripped since and never been adjusted since and it has been 15 years.
