Sorry for the late reply on the transport - I just got home from 11 weeks of sailing in the Great Lakes and the North Chanel (thats another story). But if you look for a great Transport - go to www.christinetransport.com. and call them. We moved our Alberg 30 from New Bedford, MA to Montreal for an incredible price (compared to any other quote we had) and the service was Class A1. They had all the necessary insurance etc. - I can only highly reccommend them.
