I found a photo via Google, but the hosting site seems unavailable at 
the moment, so I emailed you the photo.  It was originally linked from 
http://www.sailnet.com/forums/columbia/22214-atomic-4-transmission-slippage.html#post157770 
which has a good short description of the adjustment procedures.

 From my experience, when you back off the lock screw, only turn the 
forward adjusting collar one notch.  That's often enough to go from 
"slipping" to "hard to engage."  It could, of course, just be that the 
clutches are worn in my transmission.
