[Public-List] Bilge pumps

I stay away totally from the electric now - tho I have one rusting away 
in my bilge - I have the whale manual pump and a traditional hand pump. 
That and a bucket are all you really need - I grew up on a Friendship 
Sloop and watched many a time as we would ship water out on the Cape Cod 
Bay ... The manual leather bladder hand pumps always did the job. In 
later years dad put in an electric rule pump - it always failed ...  
best rule on an A30 - 2 hand pumps and a bucket or 3 ... if things are 
worse than that - you got real problems.
