[Public-List] White smoke

Hi Gang - 

Well I got SURPRISE in the water this afternoon.  All went well but for one
thing.  Our loyal A4 engine fired right up ... And smoked a fair bit as
usual due to the fogging oil from layup burning away... But the smoke didn¹t
stop.  At idle there is not much but if I rev her up there is a fair bit of
smoke.

I am quite worried about shot rings or a gasket... Anybody have less
expensive ills to put under this symptom?  I have heard of rings sticking...
Hopefully that may be my problem.
