[Public-List] Reversing the A-30

An anchoring alternative...pick your spot, head to it travelling downwind at
1-1 1/2 knots, dump anchor, chain, and rode over(I use 3 fathoms of chain)
and have the rode tied off. When the bow dips and the boat swings radically,
anchor is set, and I sleep well.
Perhaps a technique not for the faint of heart, but it sure eliminates a lot
of screwing around.
Keep your feet clear of lines.
