[Public-List] Mast Step support

Hello, Mike,
Thanks - not sure I'd seen that particular one before, but have seen a number of different types of repairs.
This is what I'm looking at

Hull Number 205
There seems to be a little 'cracking' above the beam, but I'm not sure what that all means.
Is this the original beam?

I presume you mean the wooden beam in the older boats. Have you seen these 
pictures. This one has been reinforced.
