I built an entirely new icebox/fridge out of 1" thick blue styrofoam
sheets, doubled up, with corners filled with expanding foam, and then
the whole thing covered with epoxy-soaked glass, fairing compound, and
gelcoat. Frozen stuff actually stays that way now (and a block of ice
can easily last a week or two when the compressor's not running).
Oh, and a took a short length of 3/8" copper gas line, flared the end,
made a hole for it in a corner of the freezer, glassed/gelcoated it in
place, and it works quite effectively as a drain without letting too
much heat in.
Cheers,
Kris
