Just a short update for anyone that is following my journey, Salsa arrived safely in Richards Bay South Africa Dec 11 2011 after a somewhat challenging sail down the Mozambique channel from Madagascar.  Plan to round the cape and arrive in Cape Town in about a month but now just re-adjusting to civilization for the first time in over a year.
