good information including some convincing data supporting mooring from the
stern rather than the bow.

I would say they can be a little difficult. You must use a winch and be
careful with the cones..A small price to pay for the safety..
I have thought about adding a line to the weight that sits on the end so I
could winch it in collapsing the cones as it comes in but I do not know if
this would affect performance of the drogue so I hesitate to try it..
After the storm we just take our time to retrieve it and then put the sails
back up and go
