I managed to get 9 years out of my T105 Golf Carts and highly recommend 
them - mine were Trojans

I replaced them with 2 x L16 6V 435 AMP in series. I have the height with an 
A-37. The batteries live below the floor boards, where it is much cooler - 
cooler is a friend to batteries. The starting battery is a standard 12V high 
cap starting bat and is held in reserve. I installed a True Charge 40 smart 
charger with equalizing and temp monitor features when using shore power and 
a solar panel to hold them charged.

I have yet to do the 12 volt multi stage thing - but its on the list.

We charge the batteries every three weeks min when not in use year round.

For an A-30 - T105s are probably just about perfect.

Depending on your situation (dock or mooring) you do need a good charging 
system, either AC or DC - or your investment in batteries will be short 
lived.
