[Public-List] Cabin Heater

Hello all,

I have an old shipmate kerosene (/diesel?) cabin heater. It has not been
used in quite some time and I have none of the paperwork. Has anyone ever
used one of these? Are there any manuals or books on how to rebuild one out
there? Also, my biggest concern, how can I ensure its safe operation? I have
heard CO1 terror stories from these stoves, but surely these must be a safe
way to work them, otherwise they would not have been produced; no?
