Roger,

I suspect that the tapered edge goes aft. At any rate the spreaders after installed must be swept aft.

Subject: [Public-List] block sized

Hi Folks,

Working on the mast; spreaders went on OK (the tapered side of the wood ones
goes forward, right?), need to replace topping lift and spinnaker halyard
blocks.  I have a couple of Harken bullet blocks with a 485 lb working load.
I assume one will be OK for the topping lift but wonder about the spin
halyard.  Any suggestions as to working load for the block?

Thanks,

Roger
