David,

I have a new 'spare' rudder shoe only to be used to make a mold for new 
replacement ones. There is a foundry in Baltimore that has made them in the 
past. I have been meaning to pay them a visit to see what it would cost to 
make some new shoes. You have given me the impetus to do that and I will try 
to see them early next week and let you know.

While sailing in Galveston Bay a few weeks ago we lost steerage on 
"Cordelia" hull #340. Long story short, we have lost the rudder shoe and 
Gudgeon.

She is on the hard for repair and I am looking for replacement hardware if 
available. Could anyone offer a suggestion as  to where I might find 
suitable replacements?
