Rick, 

I made the comment about a two weeks ago that the original bronze could be coated with some substance to compensate for the 2% shrinkage. This is common practice when using an original for a pattern to make the master mold.

I don't know enough about the process to know if it would work, but what if the master part were dipped in wax and allowed to cool a few times to increase the overall dimensions enough to offset the shrinkage?
