Think of two part paint as being really 3 part paint; the thinner is 
critical, and not easy to get the proportion right with. A pane of glass 
to use as a test sample after mixing helps (stand vertically)-I brush 
and tip, and find with a black hull on a sunny day the shaded side of 
the boat needs a different quantity of thinner than the sunny side.
A controlled environment would be great, but then I would be spraying, 
and a professional.
