[Public-List] Manifold petcock Atomic 4

Cut....Grind the tap off by 1/4-3/8 of an inch....make sure to cool 
the tap in between grinds so as to not burn and soften the tap.
Clean up first to the length of the tap before it bottoms...then if 
not enough length ....grind some more off.
Your tap is most often  made of High speed steel.
Cut tap with a cut-off wheel with an 4 inch diameter.
