[Public-List] Circumnavigations

That's pretty much my situation as well, happy to contribute time and some money when I have some if it helps, can't see any way that I can edit or interact or post to the site directly though which is where I got stumped and left things at that until the discussion came up.
Is there a chance of a pointer to one existing sub forum on the list serv and site somewhere? Most newbies like me won't know a boat model untill we run across it somewhere like those general forums.
This would require no additional bandwidth or hosting cost, let them take the increased load and management issues and might help to direct traffic in both directions. I would be happy to make up the page if that helps.

I guess what I do not understand I why is the association not involved in the site or A30.org. Seems as though they would have a big part and would like it to stay current looking. My guess is younger people like myself will be the ones buy up used A30 in the future. Why not make the website more current? Seems like a win win to me.
I also appreciate you have thousands invested but I think with all the people you mail out we could get many people onboard to help and contribute.
Hope you can see that I am not attacking you and what you have accomplished and have done but rather looking for a modern look and a more user friendly forum.
Thank you for what you do

Jason,
I've spent thousands of hours and thousands of dollars on what you see. Are you willing to commit to that?
If you're having trouble finding something, you could ask. Or you could answer my question about the organization of the site.

If a collective decision could be made to redirect interested people to one sub forum specifically that works already that would maximize participation. I looked at all of those and read archives here for months before signing up. A move to one of them vs starting yet another forum that will remain half active at best makes a lot of sense. The list archives are challenging to navigate as is the site and wiki, mast support beam repairs for example, there is no one location with links to all, but several different pages that don't link to each other reciprocally. In the end the best instructions were on the list, yet they are not on the site anywhere i could . The list of alberg 30s and owners is interesting but I can find no info about the boat I have now, including my own info last I checked though I found traces of at least one other owner on forums.
