And more good news Gord - the fuel now in the #2 tank could well be
lighter than the water it replaced! You should do well on Wednesdayâ.

Oh no problem.... I was on my own path ahead of the exchanges here. The
reason I'd checked direct fuel flow was because I'd convinced myself
that
the fuel was OK thinking if it was watery, I'd have to do a carb clean
to
make it work again. Apparently the A4 can digest almost pure water.
I'm glad others found this interesting. For my part, I've relearned the
lesson my MG taught me..."try all the simple and easy stuff before you
look
to more complex issues."

Hello gang.
This

It transpires that the filler hose had come detached from

Every time there was water on the deck, some went around the

the boat...and some of that water went into the tank.

As usual with such issues, there wasn¹t one

masking the ones behind. ?The first indication

stalling on either tank.... That was cured with regard

retightening all fuel line connections to stop air embolisms

That success fixated me on air embolisms being #2¹s issue, but

to be a separate issue.
The only problem now is that tank 2,

heavy  something I never have unless

night....
Well I guess there¹s
