[Public-List] anchor windlass

    I bought an old manual windlass from Bacon years ago. It will handle 
chain or line. I have a 25 pound Danforth with 20 feet of chain and the 
rest nylon rode. It really helps to break the anchor out having the 
windlass. Do not have a washdown, but I rigged up a 12 volt bilge pump 
to a line I drop over the side, with enough hose to reach on deck. Kind 
of a portable washdown.
