[Public-List] Bulkheads

Has anyone re-tabbed their bulkheads. The main bulkhead under the mast was
not tabbed at all on the bottom. I double tabbed and filled with epoxy,
thinking stiffer is stronger ??  Later I read something about leaving this
joint free to move . Is that true?  Do I need to cut this out? The engine
compartment is single tabbed and I was thinking of reinforcing it while my
engine is out. Does anyone have any experience with any of this?
