Hello friends - 

As I think I¹ve commented earlier, my plans to bring SURPRISE to duke it out
at the Syronelle in Toronto this summer are pretty much solidified.

I and my crew are really looking forward to competition during the racing
and camaraderie ashore.  This is going to be quite a production -  we¹re
going to launch as usual this spring and do our regular club racing till the
week before the Syronelle, then drop the stick at the club and motor over to
Bayport Marina.  At Bayport, we¹ll be hauled and placed back in our cradle
for pick up and delivery to Outer Harbour Marina in Toronto the next day.
Once relaunched at OHM we¹ll motor over to Toronto¹s National Yacht Club and
rig her up again.  We¹ll do the races, then perform the whole ordeal in
reverse getting back up to Georgian Bay during the week after.    We¹ve done
pretty well racing in our mixed PHRF fleet but don¹t really know how good we
are, having NEVER been up against another A30 in fighting trim on a race
course.

We¹re really looking forward to this ­ both the racing and seeing those of
you who come.
