[Public-List] Boom Vang Specifications

The thing about the boom lifting in an uncontrolled jibe is; with a vang 
in place, when the boom reaches the end of it's travel, the shock load 
can bend the boom.
The easy answer is-don't do uncontrolled jibes. Right.
I am defining uncontrolled as not pulling in the mainsheet as much as 
possible, then paying out with dispatch as the jibe initiates.
