[Public-List] Alberg 30 boom gooseneck

Oh, that would be great if I can get it welded. As nice as a new boom would
be, it's not a good time to spend the money on one. I've got #127 out of
the water getting a new rudder fitted, new Dux standing rigging, new wood
spreaders, new running rigging along with many other smaller jobs. I hope
to have her sailing by the end of the week!

Yeah, I could see a accidental jibe causing that crack. We had a jibe onto
the preventer once that was fairly violent. Lots of force produced with
just a small amount of movement of the boom!
I'll be sure to update with any progress.
