[Public-List] Electronic Ignition

I'm no expert on engines, but I've been told by the people who work on mine
that electronic ignition never needs adjusting... But when it goes it goes
suddenly and it's dead.

Points may require adjustment and periodical replacement...but when they go
they usually go slowly with a half life during which time you know you've
got trouble brewing.

Surprise has points which I have replaced every couple of years. They cost
just a few dollars (there's an automotive product number for them on
George's website) and it's easy to do.

Does anyone have real experience?
