[Public-List] Another Spinnaker question

Hello again - 

I see I left a part out.....

The snap hook on the end of the line through the block is snapped onto the
guy above the block...when it's hauled down it effectively deflecting it
down to resist the spinnaker's tendency to make the end of the pole rise.

Before a gybe it's easy to ease the line from the winch, then remove the
choker (or Barber Hauler, or whatever) from the guy so that there's no metal
flogging around.
