You're right about the boat John, and I'm wondering if the 'capsized hull of
his boat' reference is just the media's usual miss-use of terminology.
Capsized may mean that the boat was rolled or knocked down and lost it's
stick in an incident rather than remained upside down.

I guess if he had the boat and the shelter of the cabin to get out of the
weather in, he wouldn't be sun and wind burned....

I guess my 'spidey-sense' is tingling about something.  It'll be interesting
to see how this story develops (or not).
