Brian and all,

FYI, a fellow on the east coast is advertising a 12 hp diesel westerbeke take out for sale for $1200' OBO. He is putting in an electric inboard engine in his boat and says this diesel is running fine. The engine is listed in cruisers forum, which I mentioned earlier. Just occurred to me, this could be an inexpensive fix for an Albert that needs an auxiliary.

She has been well maintained and is in sail-away condition. Gosh! there are some old salts who see an auxiliary as an unnecessary nuisance.
