[Public-List] Paper charts

Hello friends - 

I¹m preparing for a committee meeting of an organization whose board I sit
on governs a museum¹s shipwreck exploration activities.  Our objective is to
draft a manual for operation of our research/dive 60¹ vessel.

I¹m a Canadian...  the organization is American.  One of my colleagues on
the board has commented that the US gov no longer publishes paper charts as
does our Canadian Hydrographic Service.  Is this true?

Standing by for your advice ­ and also for editorial comments on the idea
that I am working to draft a manual for safe operation of a vessel after
what I admitted I did to myself last weekend....
