Easiest thing is to use a sta- loc terminal end with a tang that fits your pin at the masthead. maybe it doesn't fit in the masthead casting with grinding down the sides a bit. alternatively
Have a shop make up a two or three inch stainless flat extension bar with 1/2" holes both end and pin that in the masthead casting, then pin the other end to the stay. I like the sta-loc or hymod fittings much better than swage. They last longer and allow you to replace wire when it gets old

Rigger is suggesting a toggle on the 1/2 pin at masthead and attached to a swage terminal. Which creates a universal joint. Problem is we are having a hard time sourcing this hardware. My Alberg seems to have the original setup. Any guidance on how you have your rigging secured at the mast head would be greatly appreciated.
