Hello,
Not sure how to post a photo but if you look at the 2013 Nood regatta (Annapolis, MD) video posted on youtube right at the start you get a good shot of the masthead casting with pins for forestay and backstay. Somehow, Lin Gin managed to insert swage eyes in the slot in the masthead casting. Probably, ground down a touch as Glenn was sugesting earlier. I will use machined flat bar stainless to attach to the pins and extend outward then add a toggle to attach sta-loc eyes maybe overkill but should work.
