Thank you Gord for those disaster stories.

Here's a picture of my boat coming out of the water
with slings tied together.

Somewhere I have a similar picture, but with me in the
foreground, anxiously clutching my hair.

When I get hauled out, I bring a diagram taken off the
Alberg 30 website, showing the topsides relative to the
keel. I give the diagram to the travelift operator.
The forward sling goes just forward of the mast. The aft
sling goes level with the aft end of the deckhouse.
