I for one (Hull #525) actually like the pegboard so I painted my pegboard a light semigloss grey using latex paint. One sample jar of paint ($3.00?) was enough for me to do all the pegboards and for me, the grey color compliments the mahogany wood and tones down antiseptic glare of the off white cabin liner. Also, I found stainless steel tea hooks that screw securely into the pegboard holes which provides almost infinite opportunities to secure items in the forward cabin such as Rubbermaid Flex Totes that I use for dry storage of clean clothes and my electric dingy trolling motor.
