[Public-List] Question on Sail Lettering

Bill:
     The emblem and positioning of it and the numbers on the sail are 
defined in the Bylaws of both the Canadian and American Associations. The 
emblem is defined in section 3 of the bylaws and the placement and size is 
in the racing rules section 10. These should be on the Chesapeake website as 
the easiest place to find them. Copy them and take them to your sail maker. 
Then he knows what to put where.

Yes, that's a good description.  I've always reckoned it was a stylialized
AL for Alberg.

There is no particular supplier... Your sailmaker will just make it for you.
