Go natural and clean periodically then teak oil.  It stays gray but the wood won't dry and crack.  

Use a soft brush to remove the dirt and mold only.  You want to retain the gray patina.  Let it dry and oil.  On a hot sunny day it will take 2hrs tops. Depending on drying time.

No sanding no scraping and most importantly more sailing.
