Has anyone converted the water tank on a pre liner boat into a holding
tank?

I converted my head to a Leveo Dry Flush (available from Home Depot mail order among other places). It runs on my 12 volts house battery and stores the waste tightly wrapped in a mylar bag  that comes in a pre-loaded magazine cartridge (about 17 flushes per disposable cartridge). Hard to explain the operation but Google for details. I am very happy with mine. Unlike a Porta-Pottie no water or dilution is involved, no pump out required, no thru hulls or deck fittings. The waste is legally disposed of with household garbage. I have had zero problems with oders and another advantage is that it can be used as a garbage disposal for food waste/scraps if desired.
