[Public-List] Edson Tiller head

Crazy idea: once the bolt that passes through the tabs at the end of the
tiller head wears against the bolt holes in those aft end tabs, enlarging
the holes.  Would it be possible/useful to overdrill the bolt holes in a
single pass from the outside of one tab all the way to the outside of the
other tab, perhaps by a 1/16", and insert a tube of metal that the same
length as the distance from the outside of one tab all the way to the
outside of the other tab, or perhaps a smidge shorter.  The bolt would pass
through the tube, the bolt would wear on the tube, the tube would bear on
the newly drilled holes.  Perhaps a real tight fit of tube to bolt hole
would protect the tabs from wear due to the tube or the bolt.  Have
machinist do the work so that the tube to overdrilled bolt hole fit is very
very tight.
