[Public-List] Boarding Ladders

Mystic Stainless makes a superb ladder that mounts on the genoa track amidships. Pricey, but sturdy, attractive, functional, easy to install. And as far a ladder hanging off the stern...way more motion and pitching at that part of the boat than amidships. Just my experience and two cents with our Cape Dory 36.
