[Public-List] Broken tack attachment

Good afternoon,
This morning, the raised protrusion where the tack shackle is attached to the front of the boom broke off. It broke across the hole where the shackle pin passed through. This tack attachment is at the top of the large cast aluminum fitting at the front of the boom that attaches to the   circular stainless flange of the roller furler mechanism. Any ideas on how to deal with this is appreciated.
