I definitely have that problem. If I forget to turn off the anchor light on
the morning before I listen to the weather forecast, I have much more
static than with the anchor light off.

The problem is not the LED itself, it's the electronics that control them.
The latest LEDs bulbs have sensors to control the current depending on the
temperature. My old LED bulb (just LEDs) didn't have this problem.
