The engine through hull on my boat 348 is too high to use as a drain. It's not far off the level of the cabin sole. The battery boxes will fill once the bilge is full. That's why I am fitting the garboard drain plug. Thanks to all of you especially Gordon Laco for your advice and information. Regards Greg Dawson #348
