[Public-List] shaft coupling parts in bildge

Greg,

What engine do you have? Original shaft connections were made to the engine
with a  coupling, like the pictures George sent. If it is large, it made be
a flex coupling installed by a previous owner. There are many brands, one
popular brand is made by Vetus.  Whatever it is, the flange should be
bolted to the engine/transmission and the shaft inserted and with a key way
into the other end, bolted . The 3 holes sound like bolt hole that are
either stripped or the pie es you found I. The bildge are broken off bolts.
