Hello David -

I used a similar scraper made by Sandvik to remove a very heavy buildup from SURPRISEs bottom when I first bought her. The scraper was efficient and controllable… so efficient that part way through I realized I was scraping off an Interprotect job along with the build up. Argh.

The larger one's blade has two sharp edges. Replacement blades are available. Edges stay sharp, e.g., through out scraping paint inside A30 #319 and varnish/cetol off external teak.
