Eric and others.
I always thought the the sail track rivets on #133 were 1/8" aluminum. Because of the design and the tremendous number of rivets in place I would think aluminum rivets would be fine. Eric if you purchase aluminum rivets just make certain that the pulling pin is aluminum and not steel. Start by drilling out a loose rivet with an 1/8" drill bit. If the rivet comes out clear from it's hole then you know you have an 1/8" original rivet if not go to the next larger size which would be 3/16". I would start small and then go larger only if need be.
What do others think about SS rivets into an aluminum mast and corrosion issues? Eric would have to use some sort of isolation material when using SS rivets into Aluminum. I for one would not want to introduce the corrosion issues and just go with the Aluminum rivets.
My two cents,
Michael #133
