Hi Don,

The artist took a bit of license when illustrating that story.
While I've seen many, many whales, I didn't see them that time.
I was down below, fixing the engine while adrift in thick, thick fog
I was able to hear the whale breathing since it was
very quiet,  what with the engine not working, and no wind.

I have 30+ cousins and many more distant relations,
many of whom I've never met. Some live in Ontario.
