[Public-List] What finish to use on teak cockpit seats

Matte varnish is not so slippery as gloss… although to achieve good UV resistance one needs to do a proper gloss job first.   Matte varnish doesn’t have good UV resistance on its own.

You can also add polyurethane beads to any varnish… that will give a good non-slip finish.
