[Public-List] whale pump update

the last nut has been removed. It was a stop nut and the bolt was
turning. I think a previous owner put the stop nut on because the bolt
was turning. had he used a lock washer and regular nut, this would not
have been such a problem. once the nut was removed, it was easy to
disconnect from the bolts
In any case, is it possible to change the valves in the whale pump
with only one hose disconnected ? or do I have to disconnect both
hoses and remove the pump to work on it and then reassemble the whole
system.
Your thoughts????
