[Public-List] Blowers

I use one of these:

It's installed in the aft lazerette, screwed to the bulkhead on the 
starboard side near the vent. The blower hose comes up from the bilge, 
through the hole at the bottom of the bulkhead between the engine 
compartment and the aft lazerette and attaches to to one side of the 
blower. Then there is a short length of hose between the blower and the 
vent itself, with a bit of loop to it so that water falling into the 
vent doesn't end up in the blower. I had a series of blowers directly 
attached to the vent, but they kept getting water in them and 
malfunctioning.
