I HAD ONE OF THE "TILLER MASTER" UNITS THAT CAME WITH "BATHTUB MARY" TO MY
KNOWLEDGE IT IS THE 1ST ELECTRONIC TILLER CONTROL ON THE MARKET... A
COLLECTORS ITEM!? IT WAS GREAT FOR MOTORING BUT A BEAR TO WORK WITH A SAIL UP.
I FOUND IT UNABLE TO KEEP UP WITH WAVE ACTION (LAKE MICHIGAN STYLE) AND ANY
AMOUNT OF WEATHER HELM AT THE SAME TIME. IT FINALLY STOPPED WORKING (THANK
GOD) AND I PURCHASED THE NAVICO 300... THE QUICKEST BETWEEN AUTO HELM/ NAVICO
FROM STOP TO STOP AND POWERFUL. CHEAPER TOO! ITS PEG FIT INTO THE TILLER
MASTER ORE LOCK BRACKET WITH A NEW LOCATION AT SEAT HEIGHT AND 18 IN. FROM THE
RUDDER POST. YES...IT REQUIRES ONE EXTENSION FROM NAVICO.

PS...REGARDING C CLAMPS AND ADDITIONAL JOINTS ECT. I'M A LITTLE LEERY OF
ADDING A JOINT TO MY TILLER...HOW DO YOU DO THIS AND KEEP ADDITION SLOP OUT OF
THE TILLER DUE TO THE ADDITION JOINT... THIS COULD BE A DANGEROUS FAILURE
POINT. I DID COME ACROSS A GREAT IDEA IF YOU WANT TO RUN YOUR AUTO TILLER
WITH THE TILLER UP AND OUT OF THE WAY. IT AMOUNTED TO ADDING A FLAT METAL
BAR (APPROX. 18 IN LG.) TO THE RUDDER SHAFT HEAD DIRECTLY UNDER THE TILLER. IT
IS CLAMPED TO THE SHAFT AND PARALLELS THE TILLER CURVE. TO THIS YOU ATTACH
THE PIN REQUIRED TO HOLD THE AUTO PILOT SHAFT. PRETTY SLICK!
