What sort of bearing or bushing did Joe Palmer use in the sheave he made for you?
I can get one machined from aluminum for free, or from various polymers for the
cost of the materials.  I have not seen any bearings that look appropriate (load
capacity & corrosion resistance) in any of my industrial catalogs (McMaster Carr,
etc.), and I'm not sure that a plain bronze bushing is the right way to go.  I
have not yet disassemble the masthead to see what the old one looks like, I was
planning to do this over the winter.
